I bought every upgrade, still see ads

I like the app itself but even after I purchased all possible upgrades I still see ads for "Pulselocker" and one asking me to tweet something in order to get upgrades that I already paid for. Its very frustrating.

I wish there was more explanation about what each transition does and that sort of thing. (Like the difference between mix and equalized fade.)
